Our Chef discusses how to make the perfect pancake with numourous different recipes to ensure you are prepared for Shrove Tuesday.

 

Combine all ingredients, ensuring you sieve the flour, into a large jug, then whisk to a smooth batter.

Vegan

250g / 125g flour

4 /2 tbsps. Sugar

2/1 tbsps. Baking powder

Pinch of salt

480/240 ml Almond milk

2/1 tbsps. Cider vinegar

2/1 tbsps. Vanilla essence

 

Coeliac

2 cups rice flour

1 banana

4 tbsps. sugar

2 tbsps. baking powder

2 eggs

2 cups of milk

melted butter

 

Dairy free

200g flour

4 eggs

600ml almond milk

 

American

270g Flour

2 tbsps. Baking powder

Pinch salt

4 tbsps. Sugar

200ml milk

2 eggs

2 tbsps. melted butter

 

Wholemeal

250g wholemeal flour

4tbsps. sugar

1tbsps. Baking powder/baking soda

240 ml milk

2 eggs

 

Regular Pancake

280g flour

400ml milk

1 egg

50g butter
